OUR INVESTMENTS

We have a broad mandate to invest in the maritime private equity space, with a specific thesis focused on projects that benefit to and from the energy transition.

We look for example in the Offshore Wind space (Crew Transfer Vessels, Supply Vessels,…), vessels that contribute to the distribution of sustainable fuels (ammonia, methanol,…), vessels active in the “Land-to-Sea” movement etc.

PORTFOLIO

M/V BELTMAR

A new efficient mini-bulker, currently under construction at a Chinese shipyard. To be operated in the “Short-Sea” segment in Europe.

The vessel is purposely built to specific dimension limitations (length, draft, air draft,…) in order to access the many smaller ports and berths along Europe’s rivers and coastlines.

She has the ability to sail on bio-diesels and is prepared to be able to run on methanol propulsion when this becomes readily available in EU ports.

Furthermore, she is already contracted on a 3-year contract to provide, among others, wood pulp cargoes to EU biomass plants.

M/V LUNA DISCOVERY

“Luna Discovery” is a Handysize dry bulk vessel built by Hyundai at its Vinashin shipyard. Constructed with a Korean maker list, she combines high standards of durability and reliability with favorable fuel consumption and emission ratings for her vintage.

Her versatile “Handy” size provides access to a wide range of cargo types, geographies, and end clients, maximizing trade opportunities across multiple markets.

Being grab-fitted and equipped with four cranes, Luna Discovery can handle her cargo independently, offering enhanced flexibility and access to smaller ports with limited cargo-handling facilities.

M/V FORTUNATO

“Fortunato” is a Japanese-built semi-refrigerated gas carrier, currently primarily deployed in the Caribbean region.

Engineered with dedicated tanks and cooling systems, this vessel is utilized for the transportation of ammonia cargoes, facilitating its distribution to local areas and enhancing logistical efficiency while broadening the availability of this product.

Ammonia is considered as one of the most apt ways to transport and store clean hydrogen, which is one of the most environmentally-friendely energy sources available.

M/V TUNADAL

“Tunadal” is a modern, efficient vessel serving as a small container “feeder” within the European region. Its operations play a crucial role in transporting cargo between ports, offering a sustainable alternative that markedly reduces emissions when compared to traditional truck or rail transportation methods.

Furthermore Tunadal is equipped with a modern installation (“exhaust scrubbing system”) that effectively cleanses sulphur emissions from its exhaust.
